This 8 day adventure through Wales showcases the country’s spectacular landscapes and rich heritage. Beginning in Cardiff with a city walking tour, the trip then heads west to the Pembrokeshire coast for hikes along dramatic cliffs and time to explore historic St Davids, Britain’s smallest city. Traveling north, the route includes a visit to the prehistoric Pentre Ifan tomb and the impressive Devil’s Bridge Falls before arriving in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. Here, the focus is on adventure, from walking through the Aberglaslyn Gorge and exploring the Sygun Copper Mine to the opportunity of reaching the summit of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon), either on foot or by scenic railway. The journey concludes with a walk in the striking Cwm Idwal valley and a guided exploration of medieval Conwy and its UNESCO-listed castle, before ending in Manchester.

The Appalachian Trail covers 150 miles in Vermont with about 100 miles of the trail coinciding with the Long Trail along the crest of the rugged Green Mountains. We'll cover approximately 50 miles, returning at the end of the day to our lodging near the small town of Plymouth, VT. You'll hike significant mileage on this trip - between 7.5 and 12 miles each day, which requires being in excellent physical condition.

New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment and we think we know why. It has stunning desert landscapes, breathtaking mountains, great cuisine and a spectacular river - the Rio Grande. It has a mix of European American, Native American, and Mexican heritage, the state is a unique and colorful place to visit. We've picked a sample of the some of the best that it has to offer in hiking, exploring and adventure. We will explore the area's cultural history, explore Bandelier National Monument, Chaco Canyon National Monument, and Ghost Ranch! Group size: 12

Shenandoah National Park straddles the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains as they run north and south for over 100 miles. Embracing rolling hills, quiet hollows, abrupt hillsides, and verdant forests, the Park contains over 450 miles of hiking trails - all absolutely gorgeous in every season. We spend our days hiking this beautiful park and ‘come home’ to warm beds and hot food at the end of every day. The human history of the park is also very interesting, and we'll learn about the people who inhabited this area for years as we hike through Shenandoah.

The official Camino ends at Santiago Cathedral, but other traditions tell of a pre-Christian route to Finisterre, once considered the westernmost point in Europe. Pilgrims then may have travelled just for the adventure or in search of wise teachers of hidden knowledge who had a school at the "End of the Earth". Nowadays, walkers have re-discovered the route to Finisterre and Muxía, either to continue their Camino journey or to experience the stunning Atlantic coast of Galicia.

Discover Newfoundland’s East Coast Trail, a stunning network of wilderness paths blending towering cliffs, serene coves, and vibrant coastal communities. From the lively streets of St. John’s to the remote beauty of Berry Head, uncover the history, wildlife, and breathtaking vistas of this rugged coastline. Every step connects you to Newfoundland’s unique culture, story-rich locals, and delicious seafood.

Starting in Porto, near the Atlantic Ocean, our journey takes us along the "River of Gold" by train and on foot, leading us into the heart of the Douro Valley. The landscape, shaped by 2,000 years of viticulture, features steep hillsides, quintas, vineyards, olive groves, and terraced orchards. As we travel further up the Douro River, we step back in time, exploring remarkable sites like the Foz Cõa Archaeological Park, Europe's largest open-air rock art location. Our hikes offer diverse experiences: walking through vineyards, cork oak forests, villages adorned with azulejos, granite mountains, hills dotted with centuries-old almond and olive trees, high-altitude vistas, and traditional villages. In Tras-os-Montes, we discover the rich religious architecture of Vila Real and the baroque Mateus Palace, set amidst stunning gardens. The adventure concludes in Porto, a UNESCO-listed city that blends historic neighborhoods, wine cellars, and a river flowing into the ocean.

Long known to Italians as the culinary heart of the country, Emilia-Romagna is still being discovered by the international traveler. Starting in Bologna, a gastronomic powerhouse with an incredibly rich history; exploring the lovely hills and fertile valleys of Emilia in the west and Romagna in the east, we'll discover the secrets behind the fabled food, and the increasingly popular wines of the region. We'll walk and hike through verdant countryside, olive groves and picturesque Medieval hilltop towns; enjoy local wines in cellars and vineyards, tasting Lambrusco, Pignoletto, Sangiovese (the same grape used in Chianti, the famous Tuscan wine grown just South) among other varieties; savor local delicacies like Aceto Balsamico di Modena; and even take part in a truffle hunt!

A hidden gem less visited than its neighbors and featuring an incredible variety of ecosystems - Panama is a tropical paradise not to be missed! Awaken your senses with a combination of water activities, hiking, yoga, and massage; with a side of healthy and delicious food and incredible wildlife and culture. Our group will be at Casa Cayuco to ourselves to relax, explore, and truly dive into what Bocas del Toro can offer!

The Amazon Jungle is known for its exceptional biodiversity and the peoples who have lived there for centuries. You'll spend a couple days in the jungle learning about the flora, fauna and local customs and culture. This trip can be taken as an extension of our Galapagos trip or as an amazing adventure in its own right.

Join us for 11 days of exploring Viet Nam followed by a visit to Angkor Wat in Cambodia. We'll visit Hanoi, Vietnam's capital, travel to the Sapa region where we'll hike through rice fields and explore limestone mountains, and then head north to Ha Long Bay for our last few days in Vietnam, cruising the bay's beautiful blue waters aboard a traditional Asian sailing boat. Our journey ends in Siem Reap, Cambodia where we'll experience its rich creative culture and the extraordinary temples of nearby Angkor.

The Galapagos Islands are a bucket-list destination for travelers from around the world because of their rich and diverse wildlife and plants, and fantastic geology. On this journey we spend 8 days in the Galapagos on different islands where we could swim with sea lions, snorkel in clear waters teeming with brightly colored fish, and walk within a few feet of blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas, and giant tortoises. We also have the unique opportunity to hike to the rim of a volcano, and of course have plenty of time to enjoy the warm Ecuadorian culture and cuisine.
